Since launching in 1949, diamond and watch specialist Ernest Jones is now a household name with 180 stores throughout the UK. Our brief was to produce a new marketing strategy that could be utilised through all above and below the line communications; one that set it apart from its competitors and highlighted the brand’s beautiful diamonds and collaborative fashion collections.
We created a campaign that added lifestyle to the brand and that enhanced the existing product offer. ‘Script’ headlines added lightness and layouts were designed to be fashion-led. With Christmas being the most important promotional period in a retailer’s calendar, we also focused on a marketing strategy around seasonal promotional events that would be sure to encourage footfall during the rest of the year.
